What is a Pattu Pavadai or a Langa Voni?
In
the Southern part of India, the ethnic wear that establishes a distinction
between a married and unmarried woman is Patty Pavadai. It is also known as
Langa Voni. This dress is worn by young girls until they marry. Hence, this
attire is the symbol of the singlehood of females in the South. This dress
